It’s really a shame that a uni guru like Rick Pearson, who is taking the time and effort to show us all that is wrong with the AFL Legacy unis, can’t seem to see the most glaring error; THE CLEATS! They DID NOT wear these Nike machine things back in the days. They wore black cleats with white laces—period! They didn’t wear cleats that had team colors running all over them, or were half black and half white. If you’re going to scrutinize the unis to the degree that Rick does, then do it from the feet up, not the ankle up. It’s sickening what these guys wear out there. It completely ruins the uni and the viewing experience.

I thought the Avs thirds were a good basic design, but that the colors should be reversed (burgundy jersey and socks, blue shoulder yolks).

The team in the red is the OKC Blazers and that was there standard uniform.
