Let’s be honest. These “rivalry” unis exist only to promote nike. Nothing more.

Most of these unis have no point to them sat all.They are not Throwbackks, they are not really “alternates” and they are not even novelties or improvements to anything – even for variety’s sake.

LSU actually wore metallic/Old Gold into the early 1950s, when they switched to the current “Athletic” Gold (Yellow). Steve Van Buren & Y.A. Tittle wore Old Gold head to toe – Helmet/Jersey/Pants.
