New USA Hockey logo? (Since they can't use the wordmark in 2010?) Check out the logo on the top.

Notre Dame has new practice football uniforms. See the last paragraph-plus (featuring a mention of Uni Watch by name) <a href="http://www.etruth.com/Know/StaffBlogs/ViewBlogsAll.aspx?bID=1&archiveUrl=2009/08/08/2786" rel="nofollow">here</a>.

I think those '93 unis are what the Jays' should be wearing still. From the white front panel hat to the iconic font, it is one of the more underrated styles of the league.
Saw the O's at Toronto too - I like that the Jays took the extra effort to re-paint their batting helmets (although the blue was a bit too metallic).

Also, I'm hoping New Era and American Needle will realize one of these days that those 70-80's white fronted caps (ala the O's, Jay's & Expos) were made of a nylon material and not wool-blend - they just don't look "right"...
It was no extra effort for the helmets, they wear those on Fridays anyway (with the powder blue road unis). If they didn't already have those helmets on the shelf, anybody's guess if they would have bothered to make them.

loved this round of benchies in general, but a personal fav was friday. it is amazing how many times some guy says some sort of ballplaying "expression" to a gal player, and it just sounds downright wrong. happened while i was umping last night, but can't remember specifics. it was less a typical expression then it was just chatter, but the tone was perfect, something about how the pitcher was putting his balls right in there for her, and she didn't like them, or something like that. anyway, friday was the gem.

I love those Blue Jays unis. They need to bring those back full-time. Also, not a big deal since I like the white/Blue hat, the solid blue hat was the one they wore in 93 in the clincher. Although they used both that year.

The game was at Wrigley 4/18/09 and ended on a Aramis Ramirez walk-off HR for a 7-5 victory over the Cardinals.

I went to Baseball Reference and got a general time frame from the Angels being posted as Los Angeles and not California/Anaheim and then just researched from 2005 on for the most runs Cleveland scored in the second inning via the Team Inning Summary. After that I could easily cross reference to the Cubs game which I recognized by the scoreboard by dialing up the game where the Indians scored all those runs and clicking on the link to the Chicago box for that same day located at the top of the page.

This post took twice as long to write as it took to find the information longhand (i.e. no googling)
Found this in a file about a woman auctioneer from 1961 and liked the logo.

Check out the <a href="http://www.gstatic.com/hostedimg/b09aa3e89282058d_large" rel="nofollow">KC Athletics pennant</a>.
Funny thing about that picture. She has the A’s pennant, to the right of it is an American Royal pennant. That event (a cattle show) was the inspiration for the nickname of the team that followed the A’s in KC.
