Good theory, but retrieving practice serves from the opposing team??? You can see an opposing player in a white jersey and green shorts on the other side of the net. Do opposing college volleyball teams “help” each other warm up before games / matches?

I believe that the last two minutes or so of warmups prior to the match starting are serve practice with each team on their side of the court. Some players practice receiving serve and most practice serving.

Great site! My favorite helmets: The ones from The Replacements and Friday Night Lights. Least favorite: from Any Given Sunday…especially the Dallas Knights.

I like how Dwayne Johnson paid homage to his Stampeders in Gridiron Gang.

I have been exploring this site, that have all kinds of helmets, NFL, NCAA, High Schools, and even some cool concept helmets.

In his FAQ’s he says he even does custom jobs for your fantasy team!

Scarlet Speedster… crimson helmet? Aside from that and the fact that the inverted bolt is Zoom’s symbol, I really like that helmet.

Last weekend in Australia two teams from the two main football codes (Australian rules and Rugby League) wore jerseys that are to be auctioned off this week for Lance Armstrong’s Livestrong charity.

Old news by now, but wow, this road uniform is just so stupid. The font stinks, the bevels suck, the NOB font doesn’t match (carryover for the sake of carryover…the previous roads matched the homes), AND they’re wearing the wrong cap. (Never mind a black cap on the Blue Jays looks wrong.)
(Yes, Murrow, we know McCarthy’s a bastard.)
Sorry, I just had to vent. Again.
