I saw Diego Sanchez fight in person last year and noticed the Kings logo on his shorts. Then I had a “sports Sherlock Holmes” Moment of sorts, I realized Diego is from New Mexico, home of the Maloof brothers who own the Kings. And sure enough later that night outside the arena (in Columbus) I see one of the brothers standing outside a limo on the phone sipping a drink.

Could Nike pat themselves on the back a little more during this press conference? The uniforms are a lot more toned down, but in my opinion the wings look cheap. Funny to hear the Nike Rep’s reaction to the reporter asking if they still have the flames on the helmet, he sounded as if he was ashamed they were ever there.

Nah, I was at that game with the winged jerseys and wasn’t really a fan. Besides, our un-named rivals in Corvallis wear black. That would be sacrilege!

That’s nothing, considering all the mistakes they make on the actual jerseys they produce (and charge hundreds of dollars for).
Since the Kings alternates were mentioned, the M&N 1997-98 Mitch Richmond alt has plain gray twill without the silver/chrome thread embroidered in it. And I think the lining inside the side panel is black, making the white squares look gray-ish.

Ok so I have found my uniwatch niche...The observation and study of sport logo emotions (ie. Angry Logos and Happy Logos) It actually surprised me after watching MLB in Ohio for 20+ years that both Ohio MLB logos depicted a happy character. Namely Chief Wahoo and Cincinnati's Mr. Baseball. Well with the help of Adobe Photoshop I made a slightly angrier version of Ohio's MLB logos... Angrier Sneering Yahoo Angrier Sneering Mr. Baseball
