It was only PPP for like a day before they switched to Pro Player Stadium. If I had to vote for “favorite”, I’d pick Dolphin Stadium since that was most recent and easiest.

I sure hope the Marlins pick a decent name (sponsor). Those big bucks need to be used to actually keep some players, and even sign new. What a concept!

The Flying WV has been the official logo of West Virginia University for the better part of 20 years. It was designed by Don Nehlen when he took over as football coach back in 1980.

So not only is Miami not first, they’re a good *generation* behind.

I believe the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes also use a Q as their hat logo.

Their hated rivals, the Barstow Quisps, also use the letter “Q”on their hats.

Do the Quisps have the propeller on the caps?

Same here with this Saints fan. I would always love when they wore the black jerseys, though it was very rarely until late 1975.

One season, in 1973, they wore white for the entire season. I remember watching the last game at Atlanta thinking before the telecast that the NFL surely wouldn’t allow any team to go for a whole year wearing only one color jerseys – but they did. Man, I was one disappointed 12 year old.

The ‘84 Arizona Wranglers would have left you a disappointed 23-year-old then, Nick. They went that whole USFL season in their white jerseys. Not sure about the ‘85 season, when they were the Outlaws. Does anyone know if they wore all whites then?
