Are we going to get one for Tiger Stadium? And can we get them in a size larger than 4XL?
If you need to get a shirt bigger than 4XL, then it's time to go on a diet. That's just my medical opinion.
8/26/05 it happened at Miller Park:
http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/news/wrap.jsp?ymd=20050826&content_id=1185189&vkey=wrapup2005&fext=.jsp&team=home&c_id=mil

Evidently it happened 5/14/2004 as well. No pics, but if you trust this guy\'s blog it happened:
http://www.brianbehrend.com/archives/2004/05/braves_vs_brave.php

Here is another blog indicating the happening:
http://atlanta.metblogs.com/2005/08/26/braves-vs-braves/

Those are the only two games I can find right now. With a little more searching I bet I could find more pics as well.
I found some more pics from a previous Uni Watch comments section (3/31/09):

Another pic from the game in \'05:
http://milwaukee.brewers.mlb.com/images/2005/08/26/xXbc5kUX.jpg
I was at the game on May 14, 2004 and can verify that the Brewers were wearing Milwaukee Braves uniforms that day while Atlanta wore standard road grays. It was a good game and I had a great time. It was a really cool promotion. I remember the date very specifically.

It is interesting what was said about the 1998 game. I\'d like to see photos of that.
I found <a href="http://nl.newsbank.com/nl-search/we/Archives?p_product=MWSB&p_theme=mwsb&p_action=search&p_maxdocs=200&p_topdoc=1&p_text_direct-0=0EB82BAADA4D485A&p_field_direct-0=document_id&p_perpage=10&p_sort=YMD_date:D&s_trackval=GooglePM" rel="nofollow">this June 3, 1998 article</a> about the game.

It's pay, but the Google News preview tells us this much:

Brian Bruney is back for the Yankees and his hat is lacking the new stadium patch. And it is also lacking the mlb logo on the back -- it is completely logo-less on the back. Not sure where you even get a hat like that, which in all other respects appears to be a New Era
Probably just a yankee stadium patch hat where the patch either came off or was taken off.
That would be my guess.

Based on the one I saw for sale at the Stadium, the Inaugural patch isn't embroidered into the cap - it's a esentially a vinyl decal affixed to the back. Not sureprising that one might have come off.

I was reading SI and it had the following quote from Lew Krausse:

"I went out the way I came in. It was at Hi Corbett Field in Tucson, and in the last game of the Pacific Coast League season in 1975. I convinced my manager to let me play leftfield. I came up to bat and I told the catcher and the umpire, 'Back up we're going to have a little barbecue today.' I took off my jersey, took off my pants and laid them on home plate. I sprayed them with a bottle of lighter fluid, lit a match and set them on fire"

Could this be true? Can anyone confirm this or are there any pictures? It seems completely insane!
Hey Paul and possibly the No Mas guys if you're reading this,

I'm stoked that you all decided to use the Mile High idea - and I just preordered mine. However, there's a small part that might confuse people (it did me). I know you're using American Apparel who runs small up to 2x and 3x-4x with Gildan. According to the size chart, AA runs to a 50 (chest) and the Gildan's don't start until 56. I really need a 52 (preferably Gildan, as AA shirts tend to be cut wrong for me). It may help if under the size is also the make in the drop down, aka
L (A. Apparel)
XL (A. Apparel)
XXL (A. Apparel)
XXL (Gildan)
3XL (Gildan)

Unfortunately the 50-56 range is the sweet spot for us sport nerd fatties out there :P

Also, if this becomes an option, I'll need to change my order to a Gildan. If not, then I'll just lose weight to fit into it!
I've found that Gildan runs at least a half-size too small. Their XXL's fit like many XL's. When shopping with the fun t-shirt shops online I have to see if I can see what brand the tag is, or I just order a XXL anyway.

Does anyone know if those ASU uniforms were throwbacks? Those were really sharp.

Also, I took the picture that was the second scoreboard. It was a very entertaining game (i.e. the Cubs just about yakked it up.) If anyone wants to do a little more research, can you find the interesting non-baseball event that happened at that game?

I have a Culver's literally next door to my apartment. One of the best fast food places to eat in Wisconsin. Butter burgers are amazing. So are cheese curds.

Most Culver's are in Wisconsin, but they have some in Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, even Texas and Arizona.

Don’t you know that being lactose intolerant gets you extradited from the state of Wisconsin – the home of the butter cheeseburger? (washed down with a milkshake, and then a sundae for dessert)

That’s Butterburger(tm)

They’ve expanded into Chicago: but AFAIK they’re originally from Madison, Wisconsin.

I have a Culver’s literally next door to my apartment. One of the best fast food places to eat in Wisconsin. Butter burgers are amazing. So are cheese curds.

Most Culver’s are in Wisconsin, but they have some in Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, even Texas and Arizona.

I have a confession:
One jersey I have never understood the hate for: Tequila Sunrise.
I never really disliked it as much as most on this site and I think it's
actually one of the better uniforms from that era.

on another note, arizona st was looking mighty fine tonight
