I may still try again if I find a regular yellow long sleeve t. Trying a similar method with black dye for the chance to make a quakers jersey is still too good to pass up.

Yes he is. some guys make special requests to New Era, so he might prefer that style for some reason. Perhaps he grew up wearing a green underbrim hat.

I’m not sure what was worse. Zambrano’s reaction, the fact that the runner was really safe or those sad batting practice jerseys that the Cubs wear.

At least the ensuing suspension means we can get one or two extra games with regular uniforms.

IIRC, the Expos did wear their blue batting practice jerseys in a regular season game or two sometime in the 1990s. And the Yankees did wear an alt jersey to recognize a Negro League team playing in old Tiger Stadium in the ’90s, but that jersey was gray.

I still haven’t seen the entire thing, but the more I’ve been looking at the “ns”, I’ve noticed that the serifs are a close match to the serifs on the team’s “TC” hat insignia. So it’s growing on me pretty quickly.

When they designed the new system in 87, they discarded the “TC.” So it wasn’t designed with the intention of matching. But it seems now that the TC has made its resurgence this decade, they are trying to not only update their current “Twins” wordmark, but actually tie it in to the TC much more than it currently is.

I’m suddenly hesitantly optimistic!

I could live with that, but only if they leave the TC untouched. No tweak to the interlocking TC!
