Both. “Homonyms” contain the subsets “homophones” and “homographs.” Homophones sounds alike with different spellings, and homographs look alike with different pronunciations.

My guess is that it was dressed up for Halloween seeing as the Bears have a bye next week. Living in Michigan, I’m not much of a Bears fan but I do like their jersey. The navy (which shade?) jersey is awesome and that Tang-orange one can go to hell.

I truely believe the Bills unis to be the worst among all teams in the major sports leagues. The guy I work with is a Bills fan and wears one of the road jerseys from time to time. It’s hideous.

The NFL needs to institute a “both teams can’t wear navy/black pants, especially if one of those team is going monochrome” rule.

If the CHARGERS really want to be unique they should wear YELLOW/GOLD pants with the white jerseys only, and maybe with their powder blue jerseys.

Leave the white pants with the navy jerseys, as that is a pretty clean look. They can also get rid of the powder blue trim on the pants and numerals and helmet bolts as it is simply too damn busy. The powdre blue jerseys would still work with the helmets and pants without the four color trim.

That would be a nod to the AFL Chargers and would separtate them entirely from the rest of the NFL. The Chargers navy pants add NOTHING to their uniform or the theme that they seem to be trying for …..

Since the Bucs are the first to use pewter, and it is not a particularly much-used athletic uniform color, you would think that it would be a tough color to match from helmets to pants.

The Bucs, and their uniform providers, to their credit, match the colors well and really pull it off.

My beloved Saints, on the other hand, can not seem to match any of the shades of gold on their uniforms, (the gold helmets do not match the gold numbers, which do not match the gold pants, which do not match the unnecessary colored yellow (should be gold) collars of the jerseys, and on & on & on) despite having had 40 years to do so and despite having the color gold a VERY COMMON sports uniform color.

And to my everlasting dismay, depression and disgust, their partial solution is to often wear black leotard bicycle pants that make then look like a junior college.

Makes ya really wanna scream, or at least appreciate the Colts wonderful simplicity ….

There’s a kid at the end of my hall that has an amazing Chicago jacket… when I saw it, it was one of those “oh… my… god…” moments.
