No. If you look carefully, you will find the other shoulder stripe just barely visible.

Yeah, but that was before the advent of Cool Base jerseys. The players wanted the vests because of the Texas heat, but the Cool Bases take care of that. Or at least that’s the explanation I’ve heard.

I”m a Texas Rangers fan. This rumor about the Rangers Home jersey changes for next season sound lame. Uber-lame. The State name on the Home jersey? That may be ok in the NBA or even the NHL, but in Baseball? Just stupid. They’d be the only team doing it. That idiot Hicks can’t get anything right.

But, I do like the ideal of a Red Alternate jersey. I would buy one of them. The new Game Cap sounds sweet. I’d buy one of them too.

I love the membership card design of the UGA helmet with bone decals. I would have never thought of it but wish I had.

While I have not been a supporter of Georgia Tech’s decision to change uniforms, I just came back from the game, and in my opinion, they are not as bad in person as they have been reviewed on this blog. The new shade of gold really pops under the lights and is surprisingly unique compared to other schools with gold in their scheme. Sure they are not perfect (the chest piping does suck), but they are far from a disaster.

Just to chime in one the issue of the Revolution. Having worn a DNA and a Revolution I found the Revolution to be much more comfortable. Most helmet have pads that run underneath the ear and it practically tears your ears off when you take it off. The Revolution has a pad in front of and behind the ear, nothing below. I wore a Revolution for 3 years and loved it. I did have it get ripped off of my head once last season but that is a different story.
