I didnt check to see if this was mentioned, but...

The Packers's 75th Anniversary logo, worn around '93 and present on some retro commercially available jerseys, did include the complete team logo. It actually was comparable to the Edmonton Eskimo's design.

Looks like this:
It's not an exact copy, but can anyone else remember a time when a team placed a memorial logo (that's similar to the one the team is wearing on a patch or sticker) on the field.
Boston Celtics have named their court in honor of Red Auerbach, and have a special logo on the floor. It does not match the memorial patch the team wore last year, but it is a permanent addition to the floor
For all you Left Coasters still awake out there, Juan Pierre is wearing a camo t-shirt under his Dodgers jersey. No screen cap...

Also- I just ran across this mock up of an <a href="http://newsok.com/fans-favor-black-and-gold-colors/article/3242649" rel="nofollow"> OKC Barons <a> basketball uni in black and gold, only good if the team is named the Barons and if the team chooses black and gold as a color scheme.
Nice catch on Pierre.
Re: Barons. Check the date on that article. It's been on here a dozen times for a month or more.
Another CFL nugget to go along with the Esks. I posted this photo of the tribute decal the BC Lions are wearing in honor of their late chairman Bob Ackles a few weeks ago. http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc45/dkblogphotos/BCtributesticker.jpg

The first game they wore the sticker was on the road. when they returned home they painted the logo on the field. http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/cc45/dkblogphotos/BCBobtribute.jpg

Also, watching streamling live of BC/Montreal and there's an ad that shows what I think are Winnipeg and they have "CANADA" as their last name like the Blue Jays do for Canada Day.

I know that Canada Weekend is a big CFL weekend but does anyone know if this is something other teams do or have done in the past.
Blue Bombers #44 is Tom Canada - could it have been him?

I can't find a picture of it, but the batting helmets used by the Brewer's on their throwback Fridays has a raised logo like the Cubs. It is not embroidered like the Cubs though.
