The ‘88-90 road uni rocked. They’re a booger to find, too. I was elated when I found a replica that would fit me on ebay a few months ago. The few I had found to that point were either way too big or of the uber-expensive certified-game-used variety.

MOHO on the racing stripes is that they were sharp on the greys, but made the home pins too busy. I never really liked them after they went to button-ups and lost the blue collar. It looked as if the racing stripes just disappeared into some trans-dimensional warp once they got to the player’s neck.

Well, from the looks of that one photo, it looks like you play in a league with other players dressed similarly (red UA socks) and that’s fine. If you play in a shorts/sweats t-shirt league I would think you’re trying to hard. Just my opinion.

And of course you score points with the Pirates hat, even if it’s for your team’s name and has nothing to do with the Pirates per se.
