I am indeed from Hull, and the creator of the site which reviewed the 2007/2008 Hull City kits as listed in the ticker. As a regular Uni-Watch reader I’m absolutely delighted that someone has submitted an article of mine!

It inspires me to write a kit review of the 2005/2006 kit because I had a hand in redesigning it after the owner Adam Pearson showed me a prototype and I said ‘hmmm, too much white’ and a few months later he showed me a new version with considerably less white trim. It wasn’t the greatest of Tigers’ uniforms but I’m proud to have had a hand in what the finished article looks like. I wish I could have such influene with the St. Louis Rams because I want the royal blue and yellow gold back!

I love this site, it makes me feel normal when considering my own sports kit geekery.

From the link of the Giants’ orange sanitaries, I searched Dressed to the Nines to figure out how many years they had them and noticed that for about 5 or 6 years the Giants didn’t have a road gray uniform set. I guess I always assumed that the colored jerseys of the 70s and 80s were just thirds, but did most teams who used colored jerseys not have a gray as well?

LI Phil, I took a second look, and I can, indeed, see the eye blue if I concentrate really hard. I hate pastels!

A broken Wang is never a good thing. Plus, it means the stock market of Taiwan will take a nose dive.
