I totally disagree, there are definitely design accidents especially when new unis are introduced. If there werent, you wouldnt see as many modifications as there are the second year after a team changes its look.
Not to get too crazy with this but if you look at the mets NY, there is an M that is created with how the ends of the Y loop. This certainly wasnt “intentional” as its the same ny the Giants used.

try to ignore the diagonal in the N. The “M” I’m seeing is the vertical lines of the N and the branching diagonals of the Y.

Custom fitting is why you may not want an authentic NFL jersey. My neighbor Marge, the Packers\’ seamstress, says you will find authentic jerseys quite uncomfortable even if you\’re in NFL shape. Most are fitted verrrrrry tightly to the body.
