Easily one of the more amazing parts of being a part of the Oregon Athletic Bands program is getting to travel/stare at/hold doors for and try to act suave in a marching band uniform with our cheerleaders. Nicest group of people ever, and the hottest cheer squad in the Pac-10, yes hotter then the Song Girls. I stand by my decision.

Actually, I’m that guy. When Rebecca was in Steel Magnolias on Broadway, my wife and I went up to see her. It was the first time I’d met her. She is a really sweet girl.

Not surprisingly, he probably never heard of Jerry West. I think he made an all-star team or two with Los Angeles.

And i wonder if Gilbert knows he plays with a ball that has Jerry West’s silhouette on it…

Why are we hating Agent Zero on a smart, Uni Watch-esque comment? I agree, the David West WEST jersey would be pretty ballin’. (My word, not his.) Much like that Astros pitcher, last name Houston, or the Redskins linebacker, #53, Marcus Washington.
By the way, did Jerry West’s All-Star jersey have his NOB? Because if not, then that jersey wouldn’t be as bomb or ballin’ as we’d like to think it would be. Regardless, David West’s LNOF&B will be pretty nifty.
(Bonus comment: Jerry West had his last name in his college jersey as well, as he went to West Virginia. Probably not very interesting Uni-wise, but it’s something.)
