Okay, I've heard of these antz, and I've learned about the buzz and the bees.

But can someone explain what Mad Antz are and what connection they have to Indiana?
Being from Fort Wayne, it's pretty inside. It's a shout out to "Mad" Anthony Wayne, for whom the Fort, and therfore the city is named. All in all I think it makes for a nice, unique nickname

I find it interesting that 201 is a NJ area code.....
Little Area Code history...Area codes were assigned based on the length of time a rotary dial phone took to dial the area code. Densely populated areas like New York City, Philadelphia and Los Angeles had huge call volume and were assigned numbers (212, 215, 213) that could be quickly dialed from a rotary dial phone. On a rotary dial phone low digits (1, 2, 3, 4) could dial quickly as the time the rotary dial took to return to the home position was minimal. High digit numbers (7, 8, 9, 0) on rotary dial phones took much longer to return to the home position and were usually used in less densely populated areas like Texas (915), Tennessee (901), San Bernardino (909). This system became unnecessary when touch-tone phones arrived, as the tone allowed instant entry of digits.
What about 718 in NY? its a pretty big one, even back then I would assume
718 is fairly new...212 used to cover ALL 5 boros of new york city...it was only created in 1984 (after the divestiture i believe)...here

definitely intro'ed AFTER touchtone phones tho

Reebok owns the Unis/Sweaters. All other equipment (helmet, gloves, stick, pants, skates, goalie pads, etc) is the choice of the individual player.
