#33 notwithstanding, that was funny as hell!
Although, wouldn't the "this is MY house!" quote make more sense if you were at home? That game was at Philly...

Why did they use Padres colors for the Dodgers' patch?
A simple <a href="http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j59/emd2k3/Uniform_Design/dodgers_50.jpg" rel="nofollow">solution?</a>

(They've only used the soaring ball logo since moving in '58, so there's no real need to 'over-LA' the logo with palm trees and whatnot.)

I don't think that will happen because when Peyton Manning wanted to wear black hightops and when Marshall Faulk (and some other RBs) wanted to wear 34 when Walter Payton died, the NFL said NO.
The League did let the Baltimore QB (boller?, dilfer?) wear the black hightops.
Wasn't Peyton's problem the fact that the Colts don't wear black shoes? The Ravens I think do, so it was allowed.

I never understood why Manning even asked the league for permission. Just wear the damn hightops and pay the fine.
sorry if this has been mentioned already but...

watching ESPN today and i believe the Redskins front office said Talyor will be remembered with a jersey patch and helmet sticker. i think Goodell said something about a league-wide helmet sticker but i am not sure.

correct me if i am wrong but i am pretty sure this is what i heard.
Around 4:15 PM, this was all over the internet. It seems that every player in the league will wear a #21 sticker on their helmet.

One of the many reasons I switched from cable to DIRECT TV. Being from Wisconsin I couldn't imagine not watching a Packer game. Especially one as big as this.

2nd reason was to get the Big Ten Network. I wouldn't have been able to watch four Badger football games if I had not switched. Can you believe no cable companies in Wisconsin offer that channel?
(OK, a few cable stations do, but they are mom and pop companies in da north woods. Time Warner and Charter do not offer the Big Ten Network)
