BTW I noticed yest. Tebow has a Gator on his helmet nameplate like the thing discussed in the Giant article. I never really noticed it before and it looks cool

Justin Anderson of Northern Illinois is wearing a number 43 jersey today instead of his normal #21. He's still wearing a #21 helmet, and I haven't heard why he's wearing that jersey.

In a related note, now the Huskies have a black shoulder stripe on their away jerseys, that looks surprisingly sharp. I don't remember that stripe being there last year, so unless I'm wrong it's something to add to the list of uni changes for this year (I'm a student at NIU, and we never got NIU away games on TV so I don't remember if there were shoulder stripes last year). The home uniforms are unchanged as far as I can tell
they are new tops for NIU, I was watching the game too. The reason, according to the TV guys for the *many* incorrect uni numbers was the new jerseys got in late and many were the wrong sizes so players were switching to get something to fit. The equiptment staff didn't have them all checked in time. Good thing numbers in college are meaningless.

Silence, you incompetent fool! Urban Meyer is the God of Florida football and you shall agree with him in all matters, including his misuse of Tebow at the end of games.

i watched the game on tv and i noticed alot of the rangers players weren’t wearing the Reebok pants.

Haven't we been over this? pants are not part of the official uniform, players are free to wear whichever brand and style they prefer.
I went to the Rangers/Flyers game tonight and was sitting right behind one of the goals. I noticed the Flyers' backup goalie, Niittymaki, was sporting a Reebok jersey and Nike short pants (logo on the back left pantleg). I tried to see if any other players were doing the same thing, but the other players either had Reebok short pants or just the NHL logo on them. I didn't have a camera and couldn't find any pictures in the post game write ups.

Paul:

I'm a big fan of your site, but I've stopped coming around recently because the layout is just too frustrating.

There are too many clicks required (even with text-to-image), and it's too hard to weed through the topics I am disinterested in (pretty much anything to do with baseball or hockey - heresy, I know,) especially in the "ticker" sections.

Being a fan of design and typography, I'm surprised that your site is (to me) the equivalent of Oregon's gray-on-white name plates. Sure, it's readable - but why make us work so hard?
Is this how lazy we are getting? We are calling this work now?
