Personally, I really like them. But I also like the stripes on the shoulders (much more that stripes that go completely around the sleeve.

Upon more looking at that picture coloring the bottom of the jersey blue would just make it look shorter, not better. So the only obvious choice is to get rid of the stupid wavy hemline.

But you don’t wanna mess with the SYSTEM, man. :V

I’m not disappointed at all. This isn’t anywhere NEAR the ugliest jersey in the league, everything’s good about it but that wordmark, and the wordmark definitely doesn’t plunge it down past the halloween yellow Flying V jerseys. Personally, I’m hoping that an NBA Ball-style backlash takes place and the RBK EDGE Uniform System gets binned, and then maybe they’d rethink the VANCOUVER on the new one. As it is now, it’s alright, and I’m sure the wordmark won’t look as horrible once we’re used to it.

Florida’s half-sleeve stripes, on the other hand…

I wear a cup when I umpire. It’s got the soft sides, and I wear it in compression shorts. It’s comfortable enough to move around quickly, and the occasional time it pinches, a little subtle adjustment solves the problem. I’ll take a little discomfort over a potential horrible injury any day.

The Mogilny picture is from when he played for the Albany River Rats (I have a few pics of him there too), and the opponent is the Rochester Americans.

The Vancouver font is Agency Bold. Also used by the Indiana Pacers. Not the same as team Canada or team Russia.

The problem with the new jersey cut is horizontal stripes at the bottom of the jersey look strange because of the hemline
On the white jersey they should color the area below the stripe the same color as the pants so it doesn’t look as stupid.

*sigh* I’m a New Yorker who grew up to be a huge Blackhawks fan…It saddens me to read and see how poorly managed the Hawks are. I mean, I cannot believe in the 21st century that there is still an owner who does not allow his team on TV because he (foolishly) believes TV exposure holds down game attendance….Idiot.

I Whole-heartedly disagree. I like noon starts. You get up to tailgate at 7am after being out all night, go to game or keep tailgating and listen to it on the radio, leave after the game is over, take nap (maybe), then party saturday night. Plus it’s tradition. GO Gophers.
