And the revolution maskes (like Peyton's) were goofy when they first came out, but they are getting better, looking more like normal facemasks.
To me, the Revolution facemasks look exactly the same as when they first came out and this still looks goofy as Hell.
Although Peyton still wears one of the weird facemasks that were included on the early Riddell Revolution, Riddell has since introduced more "normal"-looking facemasks, such as this one and this one.
I never did like Peyton's face mask. It almost looks like he has an under bite. I recall brother Eli had a revolution face mask but went back to the regular one.

Just listened live about vancouver's new sweaters. The Vancouver work mark was placed on the jersey to create a vancouver identity. The team represents all of vancouver or some nonsense like that. The good news is it's an easy fix and look at all the horizontal stripes. the colours are great.

Did anyone just watch the Canucks uni unveiling? Good god. The jersey itself looks fine, the return to the classic colors and all. I can even deal with the different logo colors on the two different uniforms. But why, WHY, did they put "VANCOUVER" on the front of the jersey?! It looks horrendous! Like...it just overcrowds everything on there. your thoughts Paul?

Sorry I don't have a screen shot yet, I'm at work.

It would be much higher on the list if anyone outside of LSU, and opposing players, actually knew it existed. "Mike" is kept in a pen in the back of the stadium before it's rolled out in a cage close to the visitor's locker room where the players have to pass by him on the way to the field.

Kept in a pen?!?! This guy seriously needs to do his homework. I would hardly call a 15,000sqft habitat that rivals many zoos a "pen".

Did anyone else notice that Rudi Johnson's nameplate last night went down onto the white part of the Bengals jersey whereas everyone else's nameplate stopped on the orange shoulder part as opposed to the white middle part on the jersey?

--Jared
I did notice that, but the real uniform snafu was that the tiger stripes on Carson Palmer's pants were backwards. Most Bengals stripes descend toward the front of the uniform, Palmer's ascended.

It's not the greatest pic, buthttp://assets.bengals.com/assets/default/gallery070827-3.jpg
What your seeing is nothing specific to just Palmer, it is just how the pants stripes are, almost no ones are the same:
There has been a lot of debate over logo creep, advertising, and the like over the last couple of days. To those of you who argue that there isn't anything wrong with a company logo on a uni, or the car advertisement: What is your profession? I'm just curoius.
I, btw, am a pastor. So, while I

from an insurance and liability standpoint, these small businesses are taking a huge risk.

suppose ive wrapped my grand cherokee with ugly pool guy (which seems to be a local small business)

im in a serious accident which kills either a pedestrian or a driver/passenger of another vehicle.

now, in a lawsuit, not only will i be named, but so will this small business.

i certainly hope they have done their homework legally when it comes to this scenario, because it will eventually happen.
I have no problem at all with things being wrapped with ads. However, the idea that some idiot would sue a company that has nothing to do with an accident just because their ad is on a car? THAT infuriates me. But is it really that likely? Has anybody ever sued a company that advertised on a bus after a bus accident?
Who gets sued when this gets in an accident?
