I know! I had to chastise Teebz earlier for this very thing. At least at this time, it’s just you, me, and Joey Guns. Maybe Frankie is still here.

Of course, I could have held off on asking before I looked it up, but where is the fun in that?

A little background: We Yankees fans have been waiting for him to come up for a long time because he has been developing in the minors. Because of the (many, many, many) other injuries to the starting rotation, he was brought up a little earlier than expected. There was much rejoicing. Then he stunk a little in his first outing. Tonight, he looked amazing. Amazing. He had a no-hitter through 6 1/2 innings and had to leave with a “significant” hamstring injury that will likely have him out for at least two months (if they bring him back to the majors at all this year).

Hughes has previously gone high-socked, but chose complete pajama pants for this game. Maybe he should have stuck with the high socks. :([/quote]
