D’oh. I looked at the end of the column, not the end of the subsection.

I was at a bar/restaurant with a friend when a Wild! game broke out on the TV. To my delight, they were wearing the red unis. I immediately started babbling about how I don’t like Christmas colors, but I love the unis. Even though the Wild! logo is stupid (sorry, Teebz), I really like the red and green….I stopped, looked at my friend and added, “You don’t care at all, do you?” She smiled and said, “Nope.” I know, though, that some of you will back me (Banker B., am I right????).

The red jerseys are solid, and the Wild logo is smaller on them. As much as I go like the picture-within-a-picture element of the Wild’s logo, the “throwback” logo they use on their alternates is still catchy.

As for your friend, get her onboard. :o)

Watching the Tigers play the Braves tonight, and in addition to the Tigers wearing their real jerseys, like they have every time I’ve seen them this spring, they all appear to be wearing the non-spring training hats, but the ones with the white “D” even though it is a road game.

it’s kind of mixed – they are wearing the ‘home’ version of the hat, but some players, such as jose mesa, are wearing the bp version, while others like jeremy bonderman, are wearing the regular hat
