Re: post 96 by Patrick, crazy shit with the UNC mascot. I’m shocked so much was made of it on ESPN, and even a bit of New York radio tosay, but it’s an awful story. Definitely a good move by that Oregon Duck.

Mike, I miss ya, buddy. If I took pics of my tats, it would ONLY be of my tats–not of the rest of me. Since I have no tats of my face, I would still be enigmatic.

i seem to remember mr. jones having to remind people to spell his name properly so there is no trademark infringement on the video game with the same name

I want to clear up my posting pictures woes. It’s not that I can’t link, but that I’ve never used Flickr or Photobucket, thus, I do not know how to show pictures I have taken myself. There is the additional problem of it being difficult to take pics of my tats myself as they keep getting washed out. I would just link to pics of tats that are the same/similar, except all my tats are originals.

I will figure it out one day.

I think it would be great to have baseball numbers in the hundreds for full-time players. I would pay to see that.

One brief correction: if Hidenori Ito makes the Yakult Swallows’ varsity squad, he won’t be able to keep number 105. “Developmental players” who get called up have to switch to one or two digits — this is why Nakamura went to 99.

they showed a pic of the card in it on the broadcast. 4 columns (2 pairs of 2 columns): english w/ japanese translation next to it. but it looked like the japanese was in kanji. I guess during a mound meeting they’d point to what they meant?
