Just saw Shooter, and toward the end of the movie, Marky Mark has some major logo creep (or, as they call it in the movies, product placement) on a ski hat he’s wearing in the snow. UnderArmour must have shelled out some big bucks.

I noticed this too – nice head wear by under armour. I was entertained by the movie, too.

They editted the rule book this year so that you can’t wear the long tights. Some socks look really smooth, and with the length of the shorts, sometimes you really can’t tell if someone’s wearing long socks or tights. The refs have to check.

Yeah, I know that’s true in the NBA, but high school? Huh.

I don’t know about Minnesota, but in Florida, we are not allowed to wear headbands with logos and such on them. However, one of my teammates and I both have logos on our headbands (he has a Nike logo and I have a U.S. Tennis Open logo on mine). What we do to get around it is put the logo on the back of our heads so that their out of the way. Despite this, one of our other teammates always gets caught for his New Balance logo. I think my logo would be acceptable because it’s not a logo of a company. I haven’t had any problems with referees over it, but they do yell at me about my socks. I wear the knee-high socks and the referees really have a problem with that for some reason. But that’s for another day.

I would, but Duke and UCLA wear more of a royal blue, whereas Carolina wears both Columbia and Navy blue and Penn State wears Navy blue.

the trim is all of the flags of Latin and South American countries. clearly the NBA is going after the Spanish speaking populace of these countries, which is why I found it funny to see the Brazilian (they speak Portuguese for those that didn’t know) flag on there.
