I was watching the Knicks/Bucs game tonight (I know you are asking why…) and Maurice Williams was wearing an awkward undershirt. It was white, but had like “weights” or something on it, some foreign object…

here’s a pic. look at the left shoulder, u can see like ‘bullet’ looking things.

I disagree about it being ‘fabulous’, if for no other reason than the following, “…and hockey are different, because they don’t wear hats and helmets, and the logos don’t easily spring to mind.”

Logos off the top of my head (aside from the Habs mentioned in the article) Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, Philadelphia Flyers…

Oh well. At least the author tried to talk about hockey.

It’s the NY Post, it costs a quarter during the week and you get what you pay for. As far as the earlier post about why he didn’t consider any other logos…basically they worship the Yanks in the post and will take any chance to slam the Mets. (Hence the NY Yankees logo being iconic and the Mets logo is not because it was “borrowed” from the departing Giants even though that the NL NY logo and the Yankees “iconic” logo were both introduced in 1909. He is right to a point, because most people instantly know the the team when they see that logo.

Still, I think just another chance for the Post to toss Team Steinbrenner’s salad.

I once saw a color poster or media guide on EBAY showing the early Cleveland Rams having Maroon and Yellow/Gold as their colors.

Also, I’ve read on more than one occasion that the LA Rams were discouraged from wearing their Yellow/gold jerseys by the NFL in the late 1950’s because the television audiences (with the broadcasts in black & white) could not easily tell the teams apart
