I couldn’t agree more. I don’t even like him that much really. I love the dawg and the “B” logo! Seems like the Browns are only interested in pleasing the older generations. What about the younger and future fans? Don’t get me wrong. I think it’s a great idea to go back and and pay proper respects to the classic uni’s and logos, but come on Cleveland. Lightin up a little. I’m a huge Browns fan and I’m right here in Cleveland. No one under 30 in my family is a Browns fan, but me. My Dad and his brothers “brain washed” me when I was a kid. If my Browns don’t want to update anything. I could live with that, but for all that is good and pure at least change the primary logo from the helmet logo to the dawg or the “B” logo. For merchandise sake. I grow old of just the helmet on all my merchandise. The dawg and the “B” are on a few things, but not hardly enough. Keep the helmet logo around as the third logo for the older generations, since they love it so much.

The Oregon/BYU game signifies everything that’s wrong (UofO) and everything that’s right (BYU) with college football unis. Those Oregon unis are atrocious.

Alas…a properly uniformed team (BYU) defeated a hideously attired team (Oregon)…JUSTICE IS SERVED!!!

The Steeler logo incorporates 75% of the old Steel Service Center Institute logo, substituting one of the hypercycloids for the word “Steelers,” seen here. I’m not sure of the connection, though there clearly is one. This may be a “chicken or the egg?” situation.

No, you’re right-they don’t normally flock to KU for sporting events although ever since the KC Kings left KC in 1985 for Sacramento, the KU Jayhawks have sort of become KC’s basketball team. I know some die-hards who live in KC who attend every Jayhawks’ home game… Granted, they are mostly KU grads.

Speaking of KU, it’s a shame that they don’t retire numbers. Seeing Jeff Boschee wear Wilt Chamberlain’s #13 nearly made me puke. And it was just as bad to see Michael Lee wear Danny Manning’s #25. At least Brandon Rush is worthy of wearing that number.

Oregon’s helmets… couldn’t see the flames, but then you couldn’t see the flames in Pauls origional post about them.
I think that if the 49ers need a win this weekend, they should wear their throwbacks, it would comply with the NFL’s 2 times rule as it would the the second time plus they are undefeated with them on (last year they beat Tampa Bay and this year they beat Minnesota… all by field goals). Plus they are still in the Playoff hunt, they just need to win out as well as Seattle lose out… it can happen!
