Having grown up in KC and being a lifelong fan of the Royals and Chiefs, I have 2 new campaigns to start.

I am gonna start the "Ditch the Yellow" campaign for the Chiefs. They should go just red and white or even throw a little silver in there. Ace the the white facemasks while your at it.

I am also gonna start the "Bring back the light blue unis" campaign for the Royals. Give me the look of U.L. Washington, Amos Otis, Frank White, George Brett, Willie Wilson, Hal McCrae....
You've got my vote with the Royals ... the powder blues are what set them apart. I'd love to see them come back. I don't agree with the Chiefs getting rid of the yellow, though. They'd look just like Nebraska, not that there's anything wrong with the way Nebraska looks, but they wouldn't be the Chiefs without the red & gold.

The only change I would ever make to the Chiefs unis is to ban the white-on-white, always and forever.
Yes, but don't you think there is a Ronald McDonald thing goin on? Maybe change the yellow then.

Heres a pic of the Cowboys mismatched socks

Note the difference between Romo and TO/Witten
The socks aren't different; Romo just has his pant legs lower, which covers up a lot of the blue.
Man... only the Cowboys wore throwbacks today. Thanksgiving should always be throwback day! This is just terrible.
It's not unusual to see nfl players with varying levels of white showing.

Here's Witten in normal uni. Note the low whites. Pant length has very little to do with the low white look. It's more dependent believe it or not on the height of the white sock.

Also, the Cowboys do have an extra helmet for these throwbacks.

Also, the Hat Romo was wearing is an older Cowboy model like Tom Landry used to wear.
Yea thats my favorite Cowboys hats and Romo isnt the first to wear it since Landry, I believe most of the coaches who wear hats on the cowboys staff use that hat, or they use to

Guess I probably ought to add that obviously the Chiefs' helmets wouldn't look like Nebraska's. My point, though, is that there aren't a whole lot of teams with a red-and-gold color scheme. Plenty of teams do red-and-white.

Watching the 'Boys/Bay game on tape made me realize two things. One, those Dallas throwbacks were sweet. Two, it's much better to listen to the game sans announcers (the VCR didn't record the feed) so I can only hear the sounds of the game and the crowd.

Burrill, sweet hockey jerseys.
todd k., when are you getting started on the Ekkys?
Teebz, I'm with you on the SI photo gallery that keeps popping up here---it is the new KR's BP hat.

Man, I am stuffed. Turkey Day is hazardous to my health.

How about the promo on NFL network for the Bengals ravens game with the shot of Chad Johnson in the old Bengals uniform....If you missed the game on NFL network, you didn't miss much from the commentary/visual department. Gumbel and Collinsworth were horrible, the on screen graphics were annoying and huge, and a lack of instant replays
I cant get the KC-DEN game here in NYC because of Time Warner.... but i hear its white pants vs white pants tonight?
This is why the NFL Network shouldn't broadcast games. My roommate is from Wichita and a huge KC Chiefs fan and guess what - Time Warner has the cable monopoly there. Home state team and he can't even watch it.

It looked like the Cowboys wore silver pants with the white & blue jerseys. Wouldn't white pants with stripes work better? But that would require all new pants.

And finally, what I'm thankful for this year: the Dodgers putting nameplates back on jerseys. Hooray!
