About today’s game, as a fan of the Big(11)Ten, I can only hope that MSU pulls it off right. I really liked GT’s throwbacks, but I still will have to see MSU’s on the feild. But according to this website, my Buckeyes started wearing their helmuts in the 60’s too, which means ND will have 4 out of 5 in a row still wearin the classics.

Correction. In order for MSU, Penn State, and Michigan to have replicas helmets, they all would need grey facemasks.
I was at the Mets game today and saw at least four Nationals with high socks and no Mets with them.
A big get well to Nick Johnson after that big collision in the 8th.
Michigan would not have been wearing its 1960’s helmets when playing Notre Dame last week. There are slight variations in the wing stripes and how they meet with the middle stripe, as well as the absence of numbers on the side of the helmets, which Michigan featured until I believe 1968 or 9.
anybody have nfl network? i was watching those cheerleader challenges. it was san diego vs. atlanta. one of the cheerleaders from san diego lost their shoe and you could see her sock. there was a big reebok logo on it. i dont usually post here but when i saw that logo all i could think was what paul lukas would say about that lol
I was really disappointed with UCLA’s new away whites. The light blue looked very teal on all of the TV highlights. Kinda reminded me of the Jaguars. I know their trademark color is baby blue, but I think UCLA should stick to the navy stripes they’ve become known for.

I saw UCLA’s game last night too, i think on TBS, but i really liked their new road whites. it looks good, my thinking was in the shadows, it looked like 3diff. color stipes, not teal, but thats IMO. I think they looked goo, but need to fix the helmets to have the same color blue in them.

West Virginia’s road whites make me die a little inside. Gold side panel and pant stripe on white; who thought that was a good idea?
