So if you’re part of the “younger” generation, born in 1977, what does that make me? I was born in 1988, having freshly turned 18. Even with my youth, I still picked up on the “Turning Japanese” connection. It was on the Charlie’s Angels soundtrack.

This guy is a character, and I don’t fault him. The look’s not for everyone, but there’s room for a few colorful characters in every sport. As for how he got into the game – fans are tools, democracy’s overrated. Fan voting got him in, if the message on the shoes is accurate.
