Until Brewers pitcher Dave Bush came in relief (we won't discuss why a starting pitcher came in for relief) and happily, there were the socks, high atop the mound. I pointed this out to my boyfriend. He pointed out that it didn't help Bush out of a 5 run inning. Who cares! He looked so good, proudly rocking the socks! And also, a few days late, but I caught a few minutes on TV this weekend of a Nationals/Cubs game and the Nats were rocking red uniforms and red socks with white pants. Loved it!
